i’m getting really sick of bdsm being treated as proof of an individual being dangerous.
because yeah, there are some really bad people within the bdsm community! don’t even get me started on some of the really bad people who have the wrong ideas about bdsm
but that’s
not
everybody and those people don’t even make up the majority!
if somebody is a dom, that does not mean they will be:
- violent
- ruthless
- a criminal
- mean/rude
- dangerous
if somebody is a sub, that does not mean they will be:
- weak
- okay with non-consensual harrassment/abuse
- undeserving of respect
